Fendertex® was founded in 2010 with a clear goal: to rethink the way yachts are protected. Drawing from years of experience in high-performance textiles, our team in France developed a revolutionary inflatable fender system—ultralight, compact, and exceptionally durable. The idea was simple: replace traditional, bulky foam or rubber fenders with something smarter, stronger, and easier to use.
2014
Research & Development
After four years of research and refinement, we launched the first Fendertex fender—a patented combination of a knitted polyester cover and an inflatable TPU bladder. The result was a product trusted by some of the world’s most admired yachts. Lighter for the crew, safer for the boat, and easier to store on board.
