unique features

95% deflatable = 8 fenders take the place of one!

Store smarter. Save space.

Fendertex fenders deflate down to just 5% of their inflated volume—making them up to 20 times more compact than traditional PVC fenders. When deflated, they can be rolled and stowed easily in tight lockers, under seats, or in crew compartments. Ideal for yachts where space is a luxury.

Lightweight - So it's easier on your back

Easier on crew. Lighter on deck.

Made from high-tenacity polyester textile and inflatable inner cores, Fendertex fenders are up to 95% lighter than standard foam or PVC models. This allows for quick deployment, safe solo handling, and reduced strain on crew—especially valuable during docking or anchoring maneuvers.

Rapid Inflation - ready to deploy in 30 seconds

Ready in seconds.

Each fender can be fully inflated in under a minute using a manual or electric pump. The intelligent valve system ensures quick airflow and tight sealing—so you spend less time prepping and more time cruising.

Abrasion-resistant = fenders won't damage your paint or gelcoat

Fendertex® fender covers provide a smooth, durable buffer that protects your yacht’s finish from scuffs, scratches, and paint damage during docking and close contact with other vessels.

Our covers are made from a specially woven, high-tenacity polyester textile that is both soft and flexible, allowing it to absorb friction and reduce abrasion without transferring wear to your hull.

Additionally, the textile is salt-resistant, which means it stays supple and doesn’t degrade or stiffen over time from exposure to saltwater. This ensures the covers maintain their smooth, hull-friendly surface season after season, providing long-lasting protection you can rely on.

5 PSI | 350-400 mbar = Slightly more than your tender

High Strength. Maximum Protection.

Fendertex fenders are engineered with a patented knitted polyester textile that provides exceptional structural strength, paired with a high-quality TPU bladder inflated to just 5.1 PSI | 352 mbar.

This relatively low internal pressure works in harmony with the textile shell to deliver outstanding rigidity, shape retention, and shock absorption. The result is a fender capable of withstanding heavy impact loads without distortion—ideal for yachts in busy marinas or when rafted alongside other vessels.

UV-resistant - Our fenders don't fade!

Sun-tested. Sea-ready.

The outer textile layer is made from UV-resistant, marine-grade polyester that resists sun damage, fading, and material degradation. Your fenders maintain their color integrity and strength even after prolonged exposure to harsh UV conditions.

Machine Washable 40°C - Yes, it's really possible!

Clean gear. Clean finish.

All Fendertex covers are machine washable at 40°C, making it easy to remove salt, grime, and dock scuffs. Designed to be reused and refreshed, they keep your fenders (and your topsides) looking spotless from season to season.

TEXTILE STRENGTH

From design to deployment, Fendertex® represents the cutting edge of marine textile engineering—combining strength, practicality, and user-focused design to deliver lightweight, durable, and space-saving protection trusted by yachts worldwide.

At its core is a patented, single-sleeve knitted polyester outer layer, mass-dyed for superior UV stability and engineered for exceptional abrasion resistance. Within, an ultrasonically welded TPU bladder ensures airtight inflation and lasting reliability. This unique construction withstands compression loads up to 20,000 kg, yet deflates to just 5–10% of its inflated size—offering unmatched strength in service and unrivaled efficiency in storage.

What makes Fendertex fenders different from traditional fenders?

Fendertex® fenders are the world’s first and only inflatable fenders made from a patented knitted polyester textile, rather than rigid PVC or PU. This unique construction delivers several key advantages over traditional fenders:

  • Lightweight Handling – Up to 95% lighter than standard PVC or foam fenders, making them easier and safer for crew to deploy, retrieve, and stow.
  • Compact Storage – When deflated, Fendertex® fenders shrink to just 5–10% of their inflated size, freeing valuable space in tender garages, lockers, and on deck.
  • Exceptional Strength – Tested to withstand compression forces of up to 20,000 kg, offering unmatched protection even for the largest superyachts.
  • Durability & Longevity – The mass-dyed textile resists UV, abrasion, and saltwater damage, while the soft outer surface won’t mark or scratch paint or gelcoat.
  • Customizable Design – Available in multiple shapes, sizes, and colors, with optional embroidery and logos to perfectly match a yacht’s branding and aesthetic.
  • Low Maintenance – Unlike acrylic or neoprene fender covers, Fendertex® doesn’t trap salt and dirt. Covers are machine washable and quick drying.

In short: Fendertex® combines cutting-edge textile engineering with practical design, giving yacht owners and crews a fender that is stronger, lighter, smarter, and more elegant than any traditional alternative.

What size fender do I need for my boat?

Fender size depends on your boat’s length, weight, and docking environment. You can refer to our Fender Sizing Guide or contact us with your boat details—we’re happy to recommend the best option.

Are the fenders strong?

Yes. Fendertex fenders are built for exceptional strength using a patented knitted polyester exterior that resists abrasion, tearing, and UV degradation. Combined with a high-strength TPU bladder, they maintain shape and performance under extreme loads—our largest model is tested to withstand up to 20,000 kg of compression force.

This strength-to-weight ratio makes them lighter, more durable, and easier to handle than traditional PU or PVC fenders, while still meeting the demands of superyachts and commercial vessels.

Other inflatable fender manufacturers don't publish external compression strength because they just aren't that strong.

Do I need a cover for my fender?

Fender covers are optional but highly recommended. They add extra protection, prevent scuffing on your hull, and are available in multiple colors—with the option for custom stitching or embroidery.

How compact are Fendertex fenders?

No joke. When deflated, 8-10 Fendertex fenders roll up and fit into a duffel bag size. This means a full set of fenders take up the stowed space of a SINGLE fender — this is the main reason our customers invest and make the switch.
